| Cottage is the most diverse grade. It provides all the classic looks of pine, combining knots and natural elements with well-varied heartwood content from 0% to 100%. Sound knots are not limited in size or frequency, and range from small to large, increasing proportionately to board width, although some boards may be knot-free. Cottage is milled from the domestic Southern pine, known for its strength and durability, and it is harvested from contemporary managed domestic forest resources.
